OPEN CALL CASTING FOR TV SERIES
We are currently casting for a TV series to be produced by Roughcut TV (The IT Crowd) to be directed by Amanda Boyle (Skins).
We are holding an open call this SUNDAY 12th December 2010 between 12 - 5pm at St Matthews Centre, St Matthews Close, Walsall, WS1 3DG
At present, we are looking for :
14 - 16 yr old, working class girl from the midlands area
14 - 16 yr old, working class boy from the midlands area
We cannot stress enough that;
NO PREVIOUS ACTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY
(just a willingness to come along and try out, nothing ventured nothing gained.) At this stage it will just be a short informal chat on camera, and we can tell you more about the process.
For those who go on to be in the series this will be fully paid work.
Des Hamilton Casting are known in the film industry for launching the careers of kids and adults who have never acted before, most notably Thomas Turgoose in ‘This is England’. Other recent credits include ‘The Firm’, ‘Bronson’ and ‘Four Lions’.

hi i was just wondering is it okay if your 17 and try out for the boy role or you have to be 14 to 16 to go to the audition thanks x

ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'm going to be able to convince my parents to take me as it's such short notice.. I'm a 15 year old girl from the Midlands so this is perfect, but I don't know how to persuade my Mom & Dad, any advice?
