First look at Saoirse Ronan in How I Live Now

 

Filming is underway in Wales on Kevin Macdonald’s adaptation of Meg Rosoff’s multi-award-winning novel How I Live Now.

Saoirse Ronan was cast in the lead role back in December and here's a first look at her on set as Daisy, the teenage New Yorker sent from New York to England to spend a summer with cousins she has never met.

The film also stars George Mackay as Edmond, Tom Holland as Isaac and 10 year old Harley Bird as Piper.

How I Live Now will shoot for eight weeks in England and Wales with an anticipated release in 2013.
