Game of Thrones star to make film debut

16 year old Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in HBO's Game Of Thrones, is set to star in her first feature film, a supernatural thriller called Panda Eyes

Sophie (represented by Independent Talent) started acting at the prestigious Playbox Theatre in Warwick, and Game of Thrones was her first screen role.

Panda Eyes is described as “a supernatural thriller that plays tricks with the mind and raises questions about just how unique we are.” It’s been adapted from Catherine MacPhail’s novel Another Me. The young adult book is about a teenage girl Fay, with a dysfunctional family, who starts noticing strange things, including a possible doppelganger following her around.

Panda Eyes will be directed by Isabel Coixet and will start shooting in late November in Cardiff, with Jonathan Rhys Meyer also rumoured to be in the cast.
