Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke joins Dom Hemingway

Emilia Clarke, who stars as Daenerys Targaryen in the acclaimed HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, is set to star alongside Jude Law and Richard E Grant in revenge black comedy Dom Hemingway.

25 year old Emilia (represented by Emptage Hallett), who landed the Game of Thrones role soon after graduating from drama school, will next be seen as Sally in Spike Island, the coming-of-age film set against the backdrop of the legendary Stone Roses Gig, which is premiering at BFI London Film Festival next week.

The new film follows Jude Law's title character Dom Hemingway, described as “a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse who is also funny, profane and dangerous” on his release from prison after a 12 year stretch, eager to collect for keeping silent which takes him from the streets of London to the south of France.

Filming on Dom Hemingway, under the direction of Richard Shepard, is due to begin in the South of France on October 15th.
