Screenterrier was launched at the end of 2008, with the aim of highlighting and celebrating the achievements and successes of young actors, and the TV shows and films of interest to a younger audience.
Screenterrier was an instant success and grew rapidly to establish its unique position in the industry, specialising in TV and film news featuring up-and-coming and established young actors in the 6 – 25 years age range, as well as offering free access to professional open castings and paid opportunities for young unrepresented actors. The website now has an online readership averaging 10k unique visitors per month (as at March 2015) and approaching 10k twitter followers.
Screenterrier reaches a highly targeted and rapidly expanding readership of aspiring actors, their parents, agents, casting directors and television and film fans.
Unlike other casting websites, Screenterrier is free for all aspiring actors to access, making us the first port of call for casting directors looking to reach raw new unrepresented talent within the child/teenage casting bracket, or with very specific ethnicity or skill requirements, through open calls to the wider community outside of the usual paid-for casting channels.
